More than 86% of businesses and organisations will use AI by 2025

JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – 08 October 2018, –/ African Press Association (APA) -By 2025, more than 86% of businesses and organisations will use AI, and data utilisation will reach 80%. AI services will be everywhere, creating an intelligent world that will reveal endless avenues of opportunity, according to the Global Connectivity Index (GCI) research by Huawei Technologies, a global leading ICT solutions provider.

The latest GCI findings, show that most countries in sub Saharan Africa(SSA)have embarked on the road to a digital economy, but they are at different stages of this journey. The bulk of SSA region countries are at the beginning of the digital economy transformation journey. To tap into the inherent value of technology and ICT particularly for its people and businesses, SSA
