JOHANNESBURG – SAP Africa, an entity of the global software corporation, has appointed industry veteran, Frédéric Alran, as its new Managing Director for Francophone Africa.
Alran will be responsible for driving SAP’s business and accelerating digital transformation in the company’s customer base in West and Central Africa as well as the Maghreb region, north of the continent.
SAP Africa Managing Director, Brett Parker, says Alran, has been an integral part of the company’s success in French-speaking regions.
Alran, who was born in France, joined SAP in 2004 and was appointed as SAP Manager of Francophone Switzerland in 2013.
He brings 20 years of experience in software sales, teambuilding and customer relations expertise to the SAP Francophone Africa team.
“Frédéric brings invaluable experience and insight to our African leadership team,” says Parker.
Parker says Alran’s keen understanding of the role technology can play in
transforming businesses, coupled with an unbeatable work ethic makes him a key asset as SAP continues to drive its digital transformation agenda across the continent.
