JOHANNESBURG, South Africa – 17th October, –/ African Press Association (APA) /, MTN will be up bright and early tomorrow morning, in flagship stores across the country, to meet the demand for the new iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.
“We will be opening our flagship stores in each province at 7am tomorrow morning to offer our customers the convenience and excitement of securing the iPhone 8 as soon as it hits the shelves,” says Jacqui O’Sullivan, Executive for Corporate Affairs: MTN SA.
MTN customers can also secure this sought-after device on the new MTN Made for Me postpaid plans. These plans give customers the flexibility to customise the selected base plan with voice, data or combination Booster Bundles, all in line with their individual’s usage pattern and budget. In addition to the benefit of being able to customise plans, customers can get up to twice as much value when they load a Booster Bundle.
For example, customers who sign up or upgrade to MTN Made for Me Medium will receive an iPhone 8 (64GB) inclusive of 150 minutes, 1GB of data bundles and 100 SMSs for as little as R729 per month.
Customers who prefer the larger screen of the iPhone 8 Plus can receive the same voice and data bundles for a monthly subscription of R829.These customers will also receive 30GB of data for the first three months of their contract (10GB per month).
iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus feature a new glass and aluminium design in three beautiful finishes – space grey, silver and a new gold. Other key features include Retina HD displays and an A11 Bionic chip designed for the ultimate augmented experience.
The world’s most popular camera gets even better and wireless charging brings a powerful new capability. iPhone 8 Plus features dual 12-megapixel cameras and introduces Portrait mode with Portrait lighting, bringing dramatic studio lighting effects to the device, allowing customers to capture stunning portraits with a shallow depth of field effect in five different lighting styles.
